1. Scope and our role

This Privacy Policy explains how Kushmahen Agro Tech ("Kushmahen", "we", "us" or "our") collects, uses, stores and shares information when you use our website, marketplace features, enquiry forms, seller or buyer account features, transport coordination services and related support channels.

Kushmahen operates a managed agri marketplace and transport coordination model. Seller and buyer direct contact details are not displayed on public marketplace listings; commercial communication may be coordinated by Kushmahen to protect participant privacy and support transaction management.

2. Information we collect

Account and identity information

• Name, mobile number, email address, city, district, state and business/farm name.
• Seller or buyer role, business type and account identifiers.
• KYC or business verification information that may be requested for higher-trust transactions, such as GST, Udyam, identity or registration details, where applicable.

Marketplace and transaction information

• Commodity name, category, grade, quality specification, price, quantity, location and availability.
• Product descriptions, photographs and other listing content uploaded by sellers.
• Buyer requirements, trade requests, quotations, transaction notes, booking information and support history.
• Transport information such as pickup and delivery location, preferred date, load weight and vehicle requirement.

Technical information

We may receive browser type, device information, IP address, access time, referring pages, cookies, local storage data and similar technical information needed to operate, secure and improve the website.

3. How we use information

• Create and maintain seller and buyer accounts.
• Verify identity or business information and reduce fraud or misuse.
• Publish product or requirement information while keeping private contact fields protected.
• Coordinate enquiries, quotations, buyer-seller communication, trade requests and support.
• Arrange or coordinate transport, pickup, delivery and proof-of-delivery workflows.
• Process or reconcile payments and refunds where payment functionality is offered.
• Send service-related OTPs, confirmations, status updates and customer-support communications.
• Maintain transaction records, accounting records and records required by law.
• Detect security incidents, prohibited activity, fake listings and platform abuse.
• Improve website performance, marketplace relevance and user experience.

4. Payment information

If online payments are enabled, payments may be processed through an authorised third-party payment gateway or banking partner. Kushmahen should not require users to share card PINs, UPI PINs, CVV numbers or banking passwords with our support team.

Payment processors may collect payment credentials directly under their own privacy and security practices. We may receive transaction identifiers, amount, payment status, refund status, payment method category and limited billing information needed for reconciliation, customer support, fraud prevention and legal compliance.

5. When information may be shared

We do not sell personal information. Information may be shared only as reasonably required for operating the service, including with:

• Payment gateways, banks and financial service providers for payment processing and refunds.
• Transporters, drivers, logistics partners or service vendors where necessary to perform a confirmed transport service.
• Technology, hosting, storage, security, communications, analytics or support providers acting for Kushmahen.
• Professional advisers, auditors, insurers or authorities where required for legal, regulatory, tax, fraud-prevention or dispute purposes.

Private seller or buyer contact information is not intended to be displayed on public product or requirement listings.

6. Cookies and browser storage

The website may use cookies, browser storage or similar technologies for login state, preferences, security, session continuity, analytics and performance. Browser settings can be used to restrict cookies, although some features may then work incorrectly.

7. Data retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably required for the purpose for which it was collected, to maintain transaction and support history, to comply with tax/accounting/legal requirements, to prevent fraud, or to resolve disputes. Retention periods may differ by data category and applicable law.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information. No website or electronic transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so users should protect OTPs, account access and device security.

9. Your choices and rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, update or deletion of certain personal information, or ask questions about how it is used. Some records may need to be retained where required for legal, tax, fraud-prevention or dispute purposes.

The marketplace and transport services are intended for persons who are legally capable of entering commercial transactions. We do not knowingly design these services for children.
